3D modeling
123D Online
(10-11 years old)

The course will form an idea of the direction of 3D modeling and basic skills in Autodesk 123D Design

Registration for a trial lesson

  • Childs age: 10 - 11 years old
  • Course direction: 3D-modelling
  • Duration of the lesson: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Study period: 9 months (36 lessons)
  • Formation of groups: up to 8 people
  • Online course
  • Price: The first trial session - 200 UAH
    1530 UAH/4 lessons - payment per month
    4131 UAH/12 lessons - 3 payments
    11016 UAH/course (36 lessons) - single payment

Preparing for the first lesson: before the first lesson, students are provided with all the necessary information on how to install the required training programs on their computer, as well as instructions on how to install and operate Zoom.

The teacher helps students understand all the tools and programs in the first trial lesson that will be used in the course, as well as gives an introductory lesson with practical tasks for students.

Form of education: training takes place in groups (no more than 8 people) once a week in an online conference in Zoom. During the lessons, the teacher tells and demonstrates the features of working in this software. Then students receive tasks that are selected depending on the type of tools discussed in this lesson. The acquired skills are consolidated during the creation of the 3D model. The teacher monitors and verifies the steps of each student using a remote control.

Description: the first module includes an introduction to the interface and navigation of the Autodesk 123D Design program. Formation of knowledge about three-dimensional geometric shapes, degree measure and three-dimensional coordinate system. Students learn how to use solid shape changing tools to create simple 3D objects: house, car, wall-E cartoon character, etc. Consideration will also be given to using color patterns and material textures to give a realistic look to the object.

After completing this module, the student will form an idea of the 3D modeling process and get basic skills in the Autodesk 123D Design program.

What is needed: must have a computer (laptop or PC), continuous Internet access and video communication device (computer webcam, or smartphone/tablet), high-speed Internet.

The second module involves continuing to familiarize with the tools of the 123D environment. Special attention is paid to the spline modeling technology, which is widely used in professional 3D modeling. More sophisticated models are used to consolidate skills: prototypes of the Eiffel Tower, Ill-2 aircraft, space box from the movie “Star Wars” and others.

The student will master most of the tools and commands in Autodesk 123D Design after completing this module, through the use of which it can create complex 3D models.

What is needed: must have a computer (laptop or PC), continuous Internet access and video communication device (computer webcam, or smartphone/tablet), high-speed Internet.

The third module is dedicated to working on a project on the subject of the middle ages. It is the creation of a detailed fortress, a 3D model of a warrior’s weapons, assault structures, and other thematic prototypes. Learn how to divide the creation of a large project into stages and combine them into one, calculate proportions and reproduce complex models in detail using the necessary types of tools.

Your child will receive knowledge that will become a necessary basis for further development in the direction of professional 3D-modeling, and will also be able to realize his own artistic and creative ideas using the skills acquired during training after completing the third module.

What is needed: must have a computer (laptop or PC), continuous Internet access and video communication device (computer webcam, or smartphone/tablet), high-speed Internet.
